Q1: Can I mail, email or have someone submit my membership application and dues to the Club?
A1: No, applicants are required to apply in person with their valid identification during our monthly meetings which are held at 1900 hours on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (no meetings in December) at SR5 on Kolekole Road, Schofield Barracks. In rare situations where military personnel are unable to attend our Wednesday meetings for duty reasons, contact the Membership Director via email to make other possible arrangements.
Q2: What is the normal membership application processing time?
A2: The processing time is 30 to 60 days, which is dependent upon the accuracy and completeness of the application.
Q3: What are the Club’s regular annual membership dues?
A3: The Club’s current regular annual membership dues for both Regular and Associate members are $40 per fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th), regardless of when you are admitted during the fiscal year.
Q4: Are there any other dues associated with being a member of the Club?
A4: Yes, if a member, other than a PAM member, desires to opt out of their mandatory annual 12-hour volunteer requirement, they can elect to pay Opt-Out Dues of $100 in addition to the regular annual dues of $40. Opt-Out Dues is due and payable on/before April 30th of the opt out fiscal year. Opt-Out Dues for applicants joining during the 2nd half of the fiscal year (January 1st thru June 30th) is $50.
Q5: What if a member did not timely elect to pay the Opt-Out Dues or satisfy the 12-hour minimum volunteer requirement by June 30th?
A5: The member’s next fiscal year renewal dues assessment would be $150 ($40 Regular Annual Dues + $110 Special Assessment Dues for failing to timely elect to pay the Opt-Out Dues or satisfy the past fiscal year’s 12-hour volunteer requirement).
Q6: When can a member submit their membership renewal application for the next fiscal year and what is the process?
A6: Members are encouraged to complete the membership renewal form and submit it to the Membership Director any time after January 1st of the current fiscal year but not later than June 30th with the applicable dues. Processing of renewals will occur after the member has completed their 12-hour volunteer requirement unless they have paid their Opt-Out Dues for the fiscal year by April 30th or Special Assessment Dues, where applicable.

A7: Members desiring a hardship exception to the above deadlines may submit on/or before May 31st a written hardship exception request to the Membership Director for consideration by the Executive Committee. The letter should state the members name, contact information, hardship exception explanation (e.g., deployments, TDY, Special Orders, etc.) that they wish for the Executive Committee to consider.
