Message from SRGC Legislative Director: Kevin Cole
To the SRGC 2A Community.
Now that the election season is over, and the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays are
approaching everyone should take some time and relax with family, reflect on the past couple of
years and refocus on the way-ahead.
The legislative session starts 15 Jan 25 and runs thru 1 May 25. That said, there are folks who
don’t share our views are already planning shenanigans for the upcoming term. What they lost
nationally they will try and make for locally and statewide.
All of our groups need to work together in order to preserve our Constitutional rights and to
educate society as a whole about the importance of the 2A.
I will be contacting the NRA about legislation activity and training. Also, I encourage folks who
are members of similar groups (GOA, 2A Foundation, etc.) to do the same.
I will be posting an updated list of elected officials very soon. Everyone is encouraged to contact their local and state level representatives and inform them of the importance of the 2A.
Throughout the upcoming term, I encourage folks to contact your reps directly via email, Zoom, or in-person. Be respectful, be firm.
We must all work together as a Team in order to succeed. Communicate, Collaborate,
Cooperate.
